With his vast knowledge, Eggman can build all kinds of robots and various machines, he can even design larger mechanical feats such as battleships and robotic suits he can use in combination with his Egg Mobile.
Master Engineer:
Thanks to Eggman's vast intelligence, he has knowledge of how to construct many different kinds of robots suited for many kinds of different situations that need to be dealt with. He can also construct large vehicles that he can use to fight with whenever he decides to take matters into his own hands. In addition, he can also build various mechanical devices that can be used for all kinds of different scenarios, such as tools for building, or transporting things, any of the sort.
Summon Robots:
Eggman can call on his trust robot minions whenever he needs them to come to his aid. The kind he uses are his trusty Egg Pawn and Egg Flapper series robots, and they can come either with or without weapons, depending if he needs to use them as obstacles or for attacking his enemies.
Summon Heartless:
Eggman can summon Heartless thanks to his deal with the Dark Overlord, however, he can mostly summon Heartless that have a Tech based theme, since he works with robots mostly, so he can summon Cannon Guns, Magnum Loaders, Strafers, Surveillance Robots, and Devastator Heartless at his command.

Eggman mostly pilots a large egg shaped one man hovercraft that he uses as his most usual way of travel, alone it has a single laser attached to it and can fire rockets from the sides of it. The best thing about the Egg Mobile is that it can be combined with some of Eggman's large machines so he can pilot them while in battle.
Egg Fleet:
Eggman's giant battle fleet of large airships, these ships carry not only giant cannons attached to the decks, they also carry Eggman's army of robots that he can summon when he needs them.

Appearance:
Eggman has an appearance that is suited to his name, since his body is mostly round shaped like an egg, so it lives up to his name. He wears blue pince-nez style like glasses that cover both of his eyeballs which leave his natural eye color unknown. His attire consists of a large red jacket with yellow buttons on it, black trousers along with black boots and a pair of white gloves. His skin is a sort of white pasty color, and he has a bald head, along with an enormously long brown mustache on his face. He currently stands at a height of 6'1 feet tall with a weight of 282 lbs, which would be assumed that the most of this would come from his large body.
Personality:
While Eggman may be a great scientist, he sure doesn't act like one at times. He has a bit of a short fuse and can easily blow his temper when things don't go his way or if he gets real annoyed. So in a way, while he may be an old man, he can be real immature at times. Since he had to deal with all of his plans failing due to Sonic's meddling.
An ironic thing though, he does have a gentle side, and has actually started to grown and respect Sonic, and even help him in the past a few times. While this is true, he does retain a mechanical laugh at times and even though he has a human side, it is not always humane. He has tended to not care for the welfare of others that are in the way of his plans, even though he does actually care sometimes.

History/Background:
When the doctor was young he looked up to his grandfather Gerald Robotnik, and was distraught when his grandfather was killed for working on the ARk. This caused Eggman to hate the government for what they did to his grandfather, so Eggman decided to become a scientist just like Gerald. However, not everything about Eggman seemed innocent, he decided that since so many forces tried to get in his way, he decided to try and take them out and carry his plans with no problems.
His early plans involved turning small animals into robots so he could look for the 7 Chaos Emeralds, however things didn't go so well. He was soon stopped by a blue hedgehog calling himself Sonic, who soon became Eggman's biggest enemy. Soon Eggman tried again by building his Death Egg, and try and use the Master Emerald. But no matter what, he was always stopped by that blue hedgehog and his friends.
Some time later, Eggman came across the legends of Chaos, a monstrous being that was sealed inside the Master Emerald. So he decided he would try and use Chaos in his newest plot and set off to free the monster. He managed to free Chaos, but at the cost of shattering the Master Emerald, but that didn't matter to him, all he cared about was using Chaos's power. So he looked all over for the Chaos Emeralds in order to strengthen Chaos, while he did he also encountered Sonic and friends who were also searching for them as well.
After Eggman managed to get Chaos to near perfect level, he was soon stopped by Sonic and friends and Chaos was apparently destroyed. As a last ditch plan he fired a missile to destroy Station Square, but was stopped by Tails, so he retreated to his base in Mystic Ruins. However he was soon pursued by Sonic, and fought against him, but sadly lost the battle.
After the loss Eggman retreated into the forest and found Chaos who survived, but he was soon attacked by him. Once Chaos became perfect Chaos Eggman tried attacking him with his Egg Carrier 2, but Chaos managed to destroy it and caused Eggman to flee.
As soon as the doctor go back to his feet he decided to find a secret military project that he read about in his grandfather's diary. When he broke into Prison Island he found it, Project Shadow, which turned out to be Shadow the Hedgehog, who Eggman recruited to work for him. While Shadow ran off, Eggman decided to head to the Space Colony ARK and use the Eclipse Cannon to try and take over again. However, when Eggman used the Eclipse Cannon a second time after launching Sonic into space, it malfunctioned and his plan became another failure. Once the Biolizard was unleashed and the ARK was on a crash course on the planet, he help Sonic and the others try and stop the ARK.
When Eggman tried to use his Egg Fleet to try and form the Eggman Empire, he was trapped within his own ship by Metal Sonic. So he managed to get Team Chaotix to work for him from his holding place. Though after Metal Sonic was defeated, he was soon pursued by them because he wouldn't pay them for their services since they found out he had hired them.
During the time of the Black Arms invasion Eggman decided to use the opportunity to get G.U.N and the Black Arms to wipe each other out. But soon got caught under fire from both sides. Though when he found Shadow he convinced him to help him deal with both sides, but after learning the truth, Shadow defeated Eggman in battle for lying to him and keeping him as a test subject.
When looking for a new plan, Eggman paired up with his doppelganger Eggman Nega and the two decided to use the power of the Sol and Chaos Emeralds to make Eggmanland. Though while they could have dealt with Sonic together, but soon Blaze the Cat came into the picture and helped Sonic defeat the two of them.
While Eggman planned to awaken Dark Gaia, he used the power of Super Sonic to split apart the planet and free Dark Gaia. However, Dark Gaia was also split apart, so Eggman tried to gather him up by attracting all of his remnants. While trying to collect the Chaos Emeralds he fought against Sonic many times, and one final time in his new Eggmanland but was soon swatted away by Dark Gaia.
Once his last plan failed, Eggman built an amusement park in space by using the power of the Wisps. This time he intended to use their energy to create a mind control ray. When he gathered enough energy to power his main cannon, it got jammed and blew up, taking his amusement park with it. But just as Sonic was getting away, Eggman fought him in his Nega Wisp Armor, but just as usual, he was defeated by Sonic yet again.
Role Playing Sample:
Things were a bit quite around the base, there would be the occasional sound of metal clanking and thudding. Course that was just the many robots moving around the large area. As the little mechanical men ran about doing their business Eggman was walking down the hallway trying to come up with a new plan of action to take. "With that blasted hedgehog not around as much, now is the best time to expand my Eggman Empire. And with those Heartless helping me as well it should go more smoothly than all my other plans."
The doctor said with a smile on his face. After all these years, he just might have the right opportunity to succeed in his plans! Now it was only a matter of thinking of a new plan. He didn't want to try something he had already done before, but he also was having trouble trying to come up with a new one since he had gone through so many. "I guess coming up with a new plan might be harder than I thought it was." the scientist said to himself.
As he continued down the corridor he noticed a small Heartless following one of his Egg Pawns around. He had found these creatures interesting, but he didn't really knew what he was meant to with these creatures, since the Dark Overlord just gave him the power to use them for his own bidding, though the doctor preferred using his robotic army to do his dirty work.
"Well I guess I can find some use for them, in the meantime, time to think of a new plan! Ohohohoho!" the doctor said as he walked into the control room of his base to check up on things. He just knew that he would be able to make his schemes a success since Sonic wasn't around.
