Name:Heathcliff Flowen.
Nickname(optional):Deputy Commander Flowen.
Age:68 as a human. Physically existed for about 350 years.
The hybridization created a sort of stasis. He doesn't age, but he travels through time.
Gender:Male
Species:Human/D-Cell Hybrid.
Position:General/Fighting Instructor.
Power(s):
Flowen, being corrupted by D-Cells, has powers far beyond
his already impressive swordplay, however, there are
drawbacks, and safety measures have been put in place.
In dire straights, Flowen can order Olga to cease the
subduing process on the D-Cells, and mutate into the
Olga/Flow, a powerful hybrid of Man, Machine, and Darkness.
In this state, his right arm takes the form of a blade made
of flesh and bone, while the left arm becomes a powerful
bio-cannon, and spews venomous globules of digestive acid,
from a pancreas inside the barrel.
While Flowen becomes a spectacular and disgusting killing
machine, he also loses his sense of self, and attempts to
kill anything within his reach. After five posts, Olga
releases a large electromagnetic shock, paralyzing the
D-Cells, and begins to administer sedation to the D-Cells.
Doing so causes Flowen to regain his self, and makes him
very tired, to the point of collapse.
Flowen, being part D-Cell does not need to eat, drink or
sleep. The D-Cells provide energy drawn from malice. As
long as there is hatred and evil in the universe, Flowen
does not need to rest. This does not conflict with the Olga/
Flow ability, as that expends the D-Cells large reserves,
and even the unbridled flow of evil in the universe can not
enter the cells fast enough.
Weapon(s):Flowen's Sword is a two handed Photon
Blade. The hilt of the blade projects the white/blue photon
stream, while a conductor in the center of the blade acts
as a focusing lenses, and strengthens the flow.
Flowen's Shot is a large photon shotgun, firing white/blue
photon bullets in a fan in front of it. Due to the multiple
outputs, it requires a post to re-energize.

Appearance:Flowen is an aged man, with a spectacular
handlebar mustache. His white hair is neatly, yet freely
kept behind his ears, except the lock that dangles to the
side of his widow's peak. His once brown eyes are now a
deep violet due to the D-Cell influence. His stance is spry and ready for anything.
Personality:Flowen is strict, yet caring. He
understands the importance of discipline, but also
understands that morale is an important factor too, even
more important than discipline. He may be snappy, but he is
kind. He would not hesitate to reprimand an error, but can
understand that mistakes have their place, and is not at
all above admitting his own error. To drive Flowen to battle
is no easy task, but should you push him to that extent, be
prepared to be spared no mercy. He believes violence is a
thing of extremes. To only be used in extreme
circumstances, and to be used to it's extreme. He does not
hesitate to kill, though he feels remorse for it having
reached that point. Begging for your life will seldom fall
on attentive ears, as you should have not pushed him to
draw his blade in the first place.
Original World:Pioneer I and Ragol.
Current Residing World:Mobius.
History/Background:Flowen was a high ranking
military official, and the star Hunter aboard the Pioneer
I, and the fighting instructor for advanced Hunters. It was
his job to defeat anything too powerful for the other
Hunters to handle. This meant most of everything in The
Ruins. Knowing it was extremely foolhardy to enter The
Ruins alone, President Tyrell had his daughter, Rico
Tyrell, another hunter, to study under Flowen. After four
months of training, "Red Ring" Rico and Flowen set into the
ruins. Battling past hordes of monsters, the pair
eventually found that they were no longer in the dark
catacombs of The Ruins, but in a flowering field on the side
of a mountain, with a large marble obelisk in the center of
the field. This was in no way possible, as The Ruins were
conected to a mine, which was conected to a system of
caves, which lay below a verdant forest. Sensing an
overwhelming calm, Flowen got on guard. The Ruins were
anything but calm. Flowen knew there was something
important here. Upon aporaching the Obilisk, the Dark Falz
was released. A fierce battle raged on, but eventually,
Flowen was wounded by one of the spawn of the Dark Falz and
was forced to retreat. Rico stayed behind, and attempted to
contain the Dark Flaz, but it is unknown if she was able
to. It as asumed she did so at the cost of her own life, as
the Dark Falz was released again, along with Rico's soul.
Flowen survived the incident, but was not in good
condition. The fluid of the Dark Flaz had entered his blood
strem, and began to corrupt his cells, like a cancer. The
doctors told him that there was no cure, and he would not
survive. Flowen, an honorable man, ofered his body to
science, so they might cure the curse, should it befal
others, on the condition that the Pionere II be delayed
until the Dark Falz was delt with, and that his family and
friends were told of his condition. The doctors, however,
had differnt ideas. Under the guise of researching a cure,
they inplanted an aritfical intelegenge, Olga, into his
heart and brain. They hoped to control the D-Cells, and
turn Flowen into an unstopable, soulless weapon. The
experiment, however, was an absolute falure. They had done
nothing to control the D-Cells, and in fact, had further
integrated them with Flowen. Disgusted with the falure, the
dumped the still living Flowen into a deep shaft, and
sealed it.
Flowen survived, though only thanks to Olga and the
D-Cells. The AI had activated, and Flowen changed into the
beast known as Olga Flow. Half man, half machine, half Dark
Falz. Controlled by the desire to kill, Olga Flow cracked
open the bulkhead, and released dark creatures into the
under-sea laboratory, killing everyone inside. Eventually,
President Tyrell ordered the same Hunters who defeated the
Dark Falz to explore The Under-sea Laboratory, and ascertain
for Flowen survived or not. After opening the seal, the
Hunters met with the twisted mockery of Flowen, and put it
to death. As the Olga Flow lay "dead" at the bottom of the
shaft, Flowen's ghost appeared before the hunters. He
thanked them for ending his mockery of life, and left his
blade in the ground.
Darkness does not easily die, however, and the Olga Flow
regenerated it's self, along with Flowen. Flowen's body had
not died, so it's soul was chained to it, until it met with
true death. Though, for his defeat, we must not mourn. In
the battle, Olga had merged with Flowen and the D-Cells. As
such, it took extensive data, and learned what it must do
to control it. The unstoppable killing machine was born, but
it retained it's humanity. Eventually, Flowen escaped from
the shaft, and in disguise, managed to get off of Ragol,
headed to a new world. Knocking around the Gural system for
a few centuries, and then making his way to Mobius, where
he now hunts crime.
Role Playing Sample:
Flowen and Rico stood apart from each other, Rico's weapon
drawn, in a tatami matted room. Flowen curtly nodded his
head signaling Rico to attack.
She rushed forwards, brandishing her fired brick red blade.
Rico swung down at Flowen's head, which Flowen expected and
turned to his right, dodging it. Rico's free hand shot out
to deliver a harsh blow to Flowen's stomach, which he
caught. With a twist of his arm, Flowen had thrown Rico to
the ground.
"RICO!" barked the genral, helping Rico up "I've told you a
hundred times! The eyes expose your intentions! When
attacking, look your enemy square in the eyes! If you look
where you are going to strike, you can not interpret their
movements, and you expose your attack! Now, AGAIN!"
Rico again rushed at Flowen, lunging with he sword, which
he again turned away from, and striking with he outside
foot, also caught, and again, Rico tumbled to the ground.
This lasted for several hours, but Rico was eventually able
to score a blow on Flowen.
"You did good today, Rico. That's the first time you've
been able to hit me. I'm proud of you, you've made
considerable progress. I remember when we first began, you
could barely flow from swordplay to hand-to-hand. We've
still got a long way ahead of us, but we are the only
chance The Pioneer has. Let's call it a day."
He and Rico left the dojo, walking in silence.
It's only three months until the excursion. That is an
awfully short amount of time. I'm starting to think I should
go alone. I don't want to send an untrained Hunter into
those ruins. They are too dangerous. It's not right that
she is coming at all. She isn't ready! I'd be a death
sentence...
Questions/Comments/Suggestions?I'm aware that "Half
man, Half Machine, Half Dark Falz is an improper fraction,
but it is used properly, as he had things added to him. He
isn't a man, he is a man with monsters and robots inside
him. There is physically more of him, he's an improper
fraction.
Flowen's "Ghost" was just an astral projection.
