Name:Icacina Senegalensis
Nickname(optional):Seny. She introduces herself as Seny and doesn't even bother to tell them the other name even if asked. She is Seny.
Age:Five
Gender:Female
Species:Euasterids
Position:Healer.
Power(s):Seny has many abilities, many vastly powerful abilities implementable in an extraordinarily large number of circumstances.
The upper portion of Seny's body is made from a semi-permeable materiel know as the "Dermis." It is made of many interlocking cells creating an tough barrier from outside influences, detritus, or life forms.
If O-C-O comes into contact with the "Dermis" it can absorb the usually harmful substance and release the healing substance known as O-O.
The ability to create seemingly infinite amounts of protein through the absorption of Sunlight.
Said protein can be split of into pairs and can be then configured to create any organ or organelle she desires, should she know the sequencing code.
The ability to store information in her very fiber, in a specialized sub-cellular organ.
Seny can lay down a system of fibrous tendrils and extract vast amounts of liquids from the materiel she is has infiltrated. Likewise, if any water is placed on top of Seny, she can absorb it through her dermis.
Seny can also, a few times a year, create tightly packed bundles of "Dermis," colored pure white, with a bundle of nervous fiber in the center. The pod can open it's self, and release a protein, as explained below.
Seny is also telepathic, and can "see" the things around her, even while she has no external eyes.
Seny also has a link to the ship's computer, where she can deal with any customers who would enter her store. It also has access to a galaxy wide Intranet system betweem all the other Star Merchants.
Her ribbon protects her from blindness, silence, and ,immobile but it wouldn't matter anyways. And it only works for her.
She's also made quite a few friends with the people on the many stars she has visited and with the many other star marchants. What power could be stronger than a trustworthy ally?
Weapon(s):Protein Rocket: Seny can launch a volley of protein that a foe, causing a severe reaction and inflammation of the nasal, ocular and oral cavities, rendering the victim momentarily stunned.

That, but much smaller, with no fruit, and in a terracotta pot.
Appearance:Seny has a bright green "Dermis," with a dark green body. She wears a cute set of armor made from fired clays. Under the armor she wears a tight earthen robe. This protects her from her natural enemies and helps her store water for later use.
There is a hole on the bottom of her armor to let excess water out, should her earthen clothing not be able to retain it all.
She also has a cute pink lace ribbon tied about her body.
Personality:When Seny was a child, she was cheerful and optimistic if she has company, and gloomy and sickly without it. However, she was very shy. She is always was there to listen to you, and never interrupted, no matter how boring you were. She would wave to you, but never actually start the conversation, or even participate for that matter.
When she got older, she came out of her shell a little bit, and began speaking to those who spoke to her. She would reach out with her mind and reply to a sentence or two, however, she is still largely very shy.
She's a really kind person, and she'd give anything to anybody if she could, except her ribbon. She is very protective of her ribbon, her love Clark gave it to her when she turned two.
Original World:Seny was born on an inter-world trading vessel; The Escape.
The Escape is a star traveling Curiosity Shop.
Current Residing World:The Escape, Space.
History/Background:Seny was born aboard The Escape, a inter-world trading vessel. In her good friend Clark's home. Clark raised her and loved her. They were the best of friends. He spoke to her daily, and she loved to hear him talk. As time wore on, she began to think that she ought speak back, but didn't know what she should say, as everything she's even known, so has Clark. She loved to hear of his tales as he took his daily walks around The Escape, but she never could do such a thing. When he left, and somebody came in, there was never anything to tell, as they left when they learned he was not in. Sure, some of them had fascinating and beautiful structure, but so did the rest of them, and Clark wouldn't care to hear about that. So she remained silent. After two years, Clark gave Seny her ribbon, and a few weeks later, she spoke to him. She told him "I love you." Clark said he loved her too, and was the most important and precious thing in his life. He said he'd always look after her, and one day, he hoped to link her to the store's computer, so she could be his true partner in the store. Seny, while reading his mind, learned that he meant love in a familiar way, not in a platonic way, and decided not to stir the cauldron. So, after time, Seny was hooked up to the computer and became his partner. She never told him how she really felt. A year later, a day after her fourth birthday, Clark became very ill, and died two weeks later. After Clark's death, Seny said she would never love again, and this holds true. After that day, she never again bore fruit. Seny now runs Clark's Curio. Alone, but not lonely, as the people love to talk to a psionic plant. She has made a few more friends, and while she misses Clark profusely, she is leading a rather happy life. If her ribbon should ever become worn, she has it repaired, however, she refuses to let the worker use any materiel other then the fibers that fall from the ribbon it's self.
Role Playing Sample:Seny was sitting in Clark's Curio with a customer. She began reaching out with her mind.
"So, Doug, what's it like being a Aurock? Is flying fun?"
"Well, I don't think so, but I live in a cave on the side of a mountain, so, it's lost it's novelty. I bet you'd like to fly though, what with being stuck in the earth all day"
"I'm not stuck, I like the earth, it's always so snug and comfey..."
At this time, Seny ordered the ship's computer to brew a cup chamomile tea.
In a few seconds, it was completed.
"...Um..Doug?"
"Yeah, Seny?"
"Could you drink this? I lack the means to."
"Then why'd ya have it made?"
"So you could drink it and I could read the taste sections of your brain...sorry..."
"Isn't that like cannibalism? I mean...it's made of leaves from the...Are you sure?"
"well, um, you eat astro-cattle from your planet, it's like that. i don't eat my own species and...um...i'm sorry i asked..."
"Huh...Well...Okay. That does make sense."
Doug sipped the tea.
Seny probed his mind for the taste sector. Each brain is so different, it's such fun trying to sort each new one out...Ah! Taste! Ohhhh!!! This is heavenly! I'll have to have a few more friend's drink this, to make sure I'm not accidentally absorbing his own sensation.
“Thank you, Doug. That was lovely. Here, take 10 credits off your purchase for keeping me company.”
“Aww shucks, it was fun, but thanks, Seny. You know, it’s stuff like that that makes this shop more then a tourist attraction. You’re a swell gal, and I think I’ll stop here first next time you lot visits. Good-Bye Seny, dear.”
“Buh-Bye!”
jeeze, i sure am glad he bought that bottle of antiquated herbicide...it was starting to creep me out...but...that's a awkward thing to buy from a plant. he said he just wanted the bottle, but I'm not so sure...Aurockian Invader Weeds can get really deeply rooted...ehh...
The Merchant's Delight: Escape
The Escape was Clark's personal vessel. It's a small space-craft, powered by a reactor Clark built himself. It is part of a group of traveling merchants, known as The Star Merchants. A group that travels about the stars, dealing their wares. Planets that are openly engaged in space business often plan dates from the entire group to appear, forming what has come to be known as The Golden Constelation, due to the fact that each merchant, or "Star" is part of a large space bazzar, or the "Constelation." The "Golden" part is a nod to fact that there are all merchants, and the symbol for the universal curency "Credits" is a golden disk.
The bow of the ship houses the sleeping quarters, and the navigation equipment, custom made by Clark, and as such, nobody really understands how it works. The navigation equpitment is now unfunctional, as even the method of starting the craft is unknown. This has all been solved shortly before Clark's death, when he wired Seny's roots into the ship. She now controls the entire ship, the lighting, the atmosphere, the music, EVERY aspect of it. She now rents the living quarters out.
The living quarters come equipt with anything a modern lifeform could ever need or want. There is suspension chamber which utilizes slective anti-gravity to keep the occupant in a perfectly static position. Should experience any insomnia, you need only open the chamber, imput the comand on the pannel on the door, and either a soothing mist, or a direct injection of a powerful, yet addictive sleeping drug will be administered. The walls are padded on one side, and metal on the other. The canister rotates to the user's preference. It also supports ambient lightening, and a library of music, constantly updated, containing over 10 billion songs for 9,400,000 worlds. Two more suspenson chambers lies next to the first.
Directly to the left of suspension chamber is synthasizer, which can create any object the user desires. When this was instaled into Seny, a saftey measure was put in place. While Clark could use it to create ANYTHING he desired, the patrons must now go through Seny and pay her a small sum, as the synthasizer is fueled by special carbon ions, there will be no refund should Seny refuse service.
To the left of that is a pocket dimension for storing any luggage passnager may have. It works by folding the space inside the contaier inside it'sself. For privacy reasons, while Seny can control the pocket dimension, she will not know the contents of it.
A rather comfortable couch sits in the center of the room, with a medium sized television on the wall it faces. The television can pick up any transmitions in a 100,000 mile radius, or can be easily configured to mantain a link to the last conected signal. It can also send transmitions to the connected source.
A hard plastic chair faces the controls, but Seny asks the passangers to not occupy it, for personal reasons.
Between the bow and the deck of the ship is a small hallway, granting access to the bathroom, sleeping quarters and deck. A beautiful landscape painting is hung on the walls. It features a fantastic world. The plants are all either floating or of tremendous size. The ground is covered in a red mesh of vines.
A bathroom featuring a shower, bathtub, sink, and a dynamic shifting toilet, configurable to toilets from most worlds.
The deck of the ship is the largest space, in which the shop floor lies.
This also functions as the storage, as well, that is what a curiosity shop deals in, anything.
Objects are piled high in crates, haphazardly marked. What may read as "housewares" may contain a suit of living armor, a breathing piece of wood from The Living Moon of Zetaz, and the stearing wheel of a 79' Buick. There is not much reason or rhyme to the sorting, as the exchange of goods is so rapid, there is little point doing so, and less chance of it working. However, everything IS databased, so inquiring about a specific object with Seny is worthwhile.
Some objects have been affected by Seny's personal sentiense field, and have taken on some interesting proterties. Certain objects have been known to literly vanish from the posetion of the owner, and re-appear in her shop. There are certain conditions however. The item must have been out of use for one hundred years, and must have been in Seny's proximity for over one Earth year. If the object has been in existance for over one thousand years, double the time. These criteria also double for any sentient object. For an example, for The Spear Gungir found it's way into the shop two thousand years after it's birth an had been out of use for two hundred years, it would have to stay in the shop for sixteen years before aquiring this trait.
Any kind of object can be found in the shop. It is quite possible to find something like The Spear Gungir in the shop, Odin may have fell on hard times, or maybe created a new, better spear.
However, less holy objects can also be found. Kept in a special chamber in a "Seed of Coruption." A seed from a tree tainted with a deep-setred evil. The seed is four inches around, and is a PERFECT sphere, save the sprout sticking out of the top. Should the seed be planted by a pure heart, and nurtured carelessly for thirty days, it will bloom into what is known as a "Ebony Shade"
The pollen of this bud will disperce and taint any life it touches, save the one who cared for the sprout. It will instead sustain it's caretaker. The caretaker must then continue to care for it for another thirty days, never leaving it's side. Should the bloom survive, it will bear a throbing purple peach "The Midnight Cross". Eating the peach will have two effects. The first is the gift of imortality. The second is the utter coruption of the victim's soul. They will never die, but life will be bleak and empty. They will know no love and no joy. They will feel only rage, woe and jeleousy. The victim then must grow the plant a second time, and harvest the seeds of The Midnight Cross and plant more Seeds of Coruption, to spread the blight it brings, and taint more innocent souls.
Why would a pure heart plant such evil flora? The sligtest touch of The Seed creates as physical need to care for it. Because of this, Clark has sealed the last KNOWN "Seed of Coruption" in a special chamber. The chamber can only be opened by Seny, in her right mind. Should any other creature open the box, the seed will be coated in molten Orchalum, hopefully perventing it's blooming. Because it frightenes her, Seny keeps it The Seed of Coruption as far from her as physically possible. But, when she is alone, and sad, it speaks to her, whispering it's fell desires for freedom. Now that we have an overview of the kind of things one may find in the store, we move on to the Tri-Drive system.
The Aft of the ship houses three machines.
The Synthasizer, The Extrapolater, and The Quantum Forge.
The Synthasizer is a simple Syntasizer, which produces a specual fuel which is poured into The Quantum Forge.
The Qunatum Forge breaks down the special fuel on all dimesions at once, for quickest output. The resulting matter is sent into The Extrapolator.
The Extrapolator extrapolates carbon from the waste, and quickly creates more from the other materials.
The Quantum Forge is the real motor, the other two are slimilar to the fuel tank and dynamo.
The energy created in the Quantum Forge is then used to power one of two means of transport.
The Space Crease, a divice which folds space for instant warp and The Clear Turbine. The Clear Turbine is another invention of Clark's. It merges Dark Matter and Light Matter into what he called Clear Matter. The Clear Matter is used to propell the ship through space. As most people know, Dark Matter, or Anti-Matter creates an tremendous explosion when it comes into contact with Light Matter, or Matter. Clear Matter is a sustained combonation of the two. It is in a perpetual state of conflicted harmony. The stability cancels out the matter, and vise versa. This creates a LOT of energy. Which Clark channeled into the thrusters. This COULD be used for a weapon, but Clark was a pacsafist, and found stealth a better option. "Why shoot them down when you can loot them, disarm them, strand them for some time, and turn a profit?"
However, there is a small gatling gun on the cealing of the shop's floor. To prevent any theft. It has the ability to fire anything from rubber bullets, to a solid Clear Matter stream. Clark wanted Seny to be able to protect herself is she needed to.
