Nickname(optional): Alleyway Jack, The Eight Armed Man, The Man of Mystery, Gil.
Age: Timeless, multi-planar, unknowable.
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Position: Multi-dimensional Wandering Swordsman.
Power(s): The ability to tear asunder the fabrics of all reality, and walk through unto another land.(Extra-planer Teleportation.) Can not die. Can be defeated, but can not physically be destroyed or have his soul sucked out. Oh, and he has eight arms and a puppy/man/thing that occasionally gives him more "legendary" swords, but they are usually replicas, or awful swords.

Picture(optional): www.1999.co.jp/itbig02/10023330.jpg
Appearance: Varies, but for now he is cloaked in a crimson cloak, wearing a crimson shirt, and big poofy crimson pants with white polka-dots. About ten swords are somewhere on his person.
Personality: Foolhardy, proud, and doesn't understand that his actions may offend some people. These elements when coupled with his powers, make him both incredibly strong, but he can't actually DO much. He has a tendency to yell and tell people he meets that his is the strongest warrior in all reaches of time and he's going to kill them, and take their swords, and that they should feel honored to have met their maker by the hands of the greatest swordsman in ALL the lands. He however, is not, at all. Often times he finds a foe who can best him. When this happens, he runs away after learning that they can beat him. But not until after a fight. He fights with honor, pride, and does not misuse his powers. He has a tendency to make people laugh at him, when he is serious. He also tries to do awesome and fantastic things, but fails in a humorous way. And he often states who is multiple times in the same paragraph, if not sentence.
Original World: The realm of Final Fantasy Five, Eight, Nine, One, Six, Eleven, Twelve, and Thirteen.
Born in the land of Five.
Current Residing World: Olympus
History/Background: In the Seventh Age of The Fifth World a child named Gilgamesh was born in a small, hidden, village when all the men strove to be great warriors and find "The Sword of Legends." The strongest of the men was granted the Genji Armor as a prize in a grand tournament each year. Upon the turn of the year of his sixteenth birth, Gilgamesh was cast out of his village and told to survive for a year in the wild on his own. It was a rite of passage all men of the village had to endure. With naught else than his trusty copper blade, two robes, a satchel and a water skin, he trekked up into the mountains to make his home. There found a mist laden clearing next to pond, with cave adjacent, and decided to make camp. Tearing the bark from trees and lashing it together with plant sinew, he created a door for his earthen home. Unfortunately, he quickly learned a bear lived in the cave, and was nearly mauled. While he had fought bears before, an attack from behind is never good. After a short, yet messy struggle, he emerged victorious and with a large quantity of food. The first night he bedded on a pile of leaves, but then decided he, Gilgamesh, deserved better. The next day he set out to skin a wild ram and make himself a proper bed. Upon returning, he spied a creature drinking from his lake. When he called out to it, it fled. Confused, he made his bed and lay awake, pondering the strange creature. I LOOKED human, but it had a certain wild quality about it. A woolly beard and covered in hair, almost fur. It also had pale green skin. The next day, he decided to lie in wait, in the spring it's self. He broke off and hollowed a reed, to hid in his pond, waiting for the creature. When it finally appeared, Gilgamesh burst from the pond shouting "WHOM DARE TO INVADE THE PRIVACY OF ME, GILGAMESH AND GILGAMESH'S POND!?" The creature grabbed a stone and hurled it Gilgamesh-wards. The stone struck the might man as the creature scampered off, on all four limbs. "What an odd creature!" thought the hermit. After a few days, the creature returned as Gilgamesh was returning with firewood. "HO! CREATURE!" proclaimed Gilgamesh and, this time, the creature did not flee. They locked eyes, and charged each other. A fierce battle ensued, wild man against man of the wilds! The fight spread all about Gilgamesh's Grove, and shattered the very earth, as the two powerful foes clashed. Three days of endless battle raged on until each were at their limit. It was Gilgamesh who finally conceded that the creature was his equal. Gilgamesh demanded what he would call him, and was quite surprised to hear the monster-man speak in the tongue of man. "Enkidu." remarked the wilder.
As the year grew old, Gilgamesh and Enkidu grew to be great friends; true brothers of the heart. But, at long last, it was time for Gilgamesh to return home. Gil and Enkidu returned to the village to find it was naught more than ashes. Less than a week since, it was razed by army of Ex-Deth. Only one structure stood amidst the ruins, the housing of legendary Genji Armor, the fabled armor of the warrior men, their blood, sweat, tears and very will of a thousand warriors imparted into it's steel. Donning the armor, Gilgamesh declared to the world that he would be "THE SINGLE MOST GREATEST SWORDSMAN EVER TO EXIST!!!", and that he would fight on for all men and women whom lost their lives defending their home, and the old bearers of the armor, who have since passed, imparting their soul into the violet armor. He and Enkidu set out, traveling from town to town defeating any who dare accept his challenge. After time, word of this wandering swordsman reached the ear Ex-Deth and and he decided to use this rumored warrior, and sole survivor of his attack. He was found by Exdeath who promised to grant him his wish, should he serve him well. That was a lie. Exdeath used him to repeatedly attack Bartz and friends. These battles led to the loss of Enkidu's life. After time, his ineptitude kicked in and he ruined a trap. Exdeath was not pleased and cast him into the Cleft Of Dimension. Where he fought many a horrible monsters, and/or fled their wrath. A great portion of Bart's journey had passed by the time Bartz and friends made it to the Void, and found "The Necrophobe." A powerful Necromancer, with an impenetrable shield. After dismantling the shield's generators, The Necrophobe decided this impudence was drawing near it's end. Enter Gil. Seeing his rival(s) and friend(s) in trouble, he readied a large explosion, one which would kill him, AND The Necrophobe. However, by killing the Necrophobe, he was granted the boon of immortality. It is also to be assumed that is where he earned his dimensional manipulation ability, or he just learned how to do that out of sheer will. This new-found power lead him to many new realms. The First Realm, where he "Found some really really shinny guys trying to take a legendary sword I too had found." The Sixth Realm a powerful blade made it's way into the betting pool of an arena, and Gilgamesh seized this chance to do battle for it. Upon defeat, he conceded his power to the warriors whom had bested him and made a vow to help them, should the raise his stone and call. In The Ninth Realm, he "Found a monkey boy with a really neat twisty sword!!" but, he gave up fighting as he learned a great blade could be won by clashing in a card game with some ghosts. So he taught the boy to play cards.
The Twelfth Realm whispered of a "Legendary Sword of Legends" or maybe it was just him doing the whispering. Regardless, he found the sword, and was hunted down. After defeat, the fine folks who bested him left his blade behind, as a tribute. He took it anyways, as dieing isn't his strong point. On these fine folk he had this to say "One of them had a really pretty sword and it looked like it could cut anything but, in practicality, it couldn't...Then there was a dandy, and he had a BUNNY! A BUNNY WITH A BOW! It was neat!" He spent some time in the Eleventh Realm, but nobody really cares, he didn't do much. Now, you must say to yourself, "Why, this man can not die! Has he abandoned his brother? Nay! This leaves us with his current location. Outside of the door of the Underworld. Rumors were told that if you could brave it's depth, plead with the master, and leave, all without looking back, you may be re-united with your loved ones. This, Gilgamesh accomplished...To some degree. He very nearly made it out of The Underworld with quest in mind...until he forgot what it was he was doing. Confused by his current situation, he began to turn around, thus dispelling the ghost of Enkidu, until he noticed a bright light ahead of him. "A new Legendary Sword of Legends!?" thought he, and he raced for it with his all, Enkidu in tow. Now, he stands with his long lost pal, in The Olympus Coliseum.
Role Playing Sample: "The depth of The Underworld are no match for the MIGHTY GILGAMESH!" exclaimed the hero as he exited the Underworld. "NOW WHERE IS MY NEW SWORD!"
Gilgamesh had just rescued his long lost companion Enkidu from The Underworld. He also forgot why he was there, and nearly failed by turning around, but before dispelling Enkidu, saw the lights of Olympus Coliseum, and raced 'towards it thinking it was a new sword, maybe the Legendary Sword. As he reentered the world of the living, he noticed the presence of somebody behind him.
"ENKIDU! OLD BUDDY! HOW DID YOU GET HERE?!" he exclaimed seeing the wilder. "Oh, right, the whole, Underworld Trial thing. YEAH! Well, let's US see if we can't find somebody to beat up for their sword! Hey, that guy has a big sword! And...why is he...bobbing up and down like that? Is that some kind of new work-out?"
