Anon LaVonne hurr.
Heya, just tell me if I could do something for the site. I can handle about anything. It's even easier when I have thousands of pre-made codes at my disposal. Ah, I love tinkering.
About graphics, at the moment I dislike the board's little table/border design, so I will have to think of something appropriate for them. >.> Any suggestions will be loved.
Oh... Tell me whatcha think?

Ooh! Ooh! *is excited*
We should have like a character of the month thing on the left side of the boards to fill up that gap of stars.
Or we could have a Hero of the Month, Villain of the Month, etc.

That sounds completely reasonable. Just point out that idea to Xhanel and we'll talk about it. He's definitely still the main man when it comes to decisions, I just work those into code. XD

Character of the Month? Perhaps character of the week. Or Player of the Week... I bet I could make a trophy...

Player of the week we shall have! ... When we get 20 ACTIVE members...

I, in my opinion, think it would be better to have an rper of the week, hero of the week, and villain of the week. That way, it would fill up more, plus it would give others a better chance on being shown. For example, say I'm the best rper in the world(which I'm not), and I keep getting awarded the player of the week. But then, if another person, has a really awesome character who does very good things, but though he does not have really good rping skills like me, so he never gets awarded. Thats why I think we should have these categories when we have 20 members.
Member of the Week: The most friendliest and awesome member of the site.
Role Player of the Week: The best rper of the site.
Hero of the Week: A good guy who does good things all the time, but not one of those sickening goody two shoes that just makes you want to slap the guy(of the site)
Villain of the Week: Must I explain? A very bad and evil character that does very evil things. Personally, I don't think this should be a voting thing, unless there are more than one contestant. To be nominated, I think the villain should have done something clever like trick someone to becoming their slave, defeat a guy, do something that majorly affects the plot, etc. Basically, something really bad, clever, or mischievous.
Okay, so besides those, I would like to point out some other ones that we could have in the future when there is alot of activity.
Thread of the Week: Most members will probably want to read a interesting story. So why not point out the most interesting thread of the week towards them?
Duo of the Week: It could be good friends, a good couple, a good rivalship? Somethin like that.

While I do love this idea, nshansen, I kind of want to avoid hero/villain of the week. Being good or evil is way too easy sometimes. Now, where the real strength comes from is when you have to choose between two options.
Take the game INFAMOUS for example: The storylines were separated between good and evil. And it was blatantly obvious. One decision was good and one was evil. There were no HARD decisions, where you had to think about it.
Now, take this example: There is a boat sinking into the water. A man and a box of kittens are aboard. Let's say that the only way to save BOTH is by tapping into the DARKNESS. But that would be bad. But it would also save both groups instead of just one. These gray areas are the ones that truly matter. Because sometimes, tapping into Darkness can be good. Or maybe an evil character can have a choice that doesn't reflect darkness.
It's these types of dynamic, realistic decisions that make it fun!

*Bowser Jr. grumbles, whispering, "Crap, me wanted to be villain"*
Hehe, kidding. So maybe we should have the biggest and coolest decision of the week? Cause, I do have to admit, having a Villain of the Week would probably end up all the same. With the Overlord being the biggest and worst heartless of them all, it would be hard to compete with that.
