Kingdom Hearts World Collision is a Role Playing Game (RPG) created for people who are literate in role playing (RP'ing) or those who are willing to learn how to be.
KHWC operates on a warnings policy. When you break a rule, you get a warning from a staff member in the form of a Private Message (PM) telling why you have been warned. If you want, you can appeal via PM to the staff member who sent you the warning. If you get 3 warnings, you are banned for a week.
ATTENTION STAFF: If I find out you are issuing warnings for personal rather than professional reasons, I will remove you from staff, ban you from the site for a week, and assign you a security setting that locks you out of chat areas. Yes, I know that sounds harsh. I hope no one wants to test me.
After that week ban, if you get another warning your username is deleted and you are permanently banned. You IP and E-mail are also banned. The whole point of warnings is to let you know that you are using this board incorrectly, not to bash you on a personal or seniority basis. Remember, everyone on here is equal, meaning no one is immune to warnings. That means you, Mod Ninjas!
Rules:

- Posting 1 word replies, like Yeah.
- Posting meaningless replies/topics
- Repeated double posting (remember, you can edit and delete your own posts! Please, do so, especially in RP zones.)
- Posting topics in the wrong board (not a really serious rule, seeing as we people in charge can just move it. However, this does NOT mean we won't yell at you about it if you do it to often.)
- Consistent bad spelling/grammar that could have been easily avoided. I am obsessive about this, and if I see bad grammar and/or spelling in a role playing area, I will edit it away. I will also leave a note in the post. If you get three notes, you will have to pass a rp grammar course to continue posting in role playing areas. This is done via pm, to avoid embarrassment for you.
2) No Discrimination
This covers:
- Racism
- Sexism
- Religious hatred
- Personal flaming
These are all looked on as being very serious. You wouldn't use racist language in real life, so do not use it online. Again, very serious rule, and I will assign titles to people who violate this rule. If anyone sees a post that violates this rule, pm the url to me.
3) 18+ or Illegal Links/Images
Do not post images of an illegal or explicit nature on here. The rules are lax, but I do not want to see any adult images or links to adult sites on here.
4) No Member Bashing
I'm repeating myself, but its no fun to have someone continually hi-jack threads flaming another member.
5) No Staff Bashing
Us staff members get no payment for our labors looking out for the boards, and as such we kindly ask you to respect us. We are not gods, we make mistakes, but don't think you can abuse us. That means you, you flamethrowing jerk. You know who you are.
6) No Mini-Modding
What this means is if a member spams, double posts, bumps or breaks any of the above or below rules, do not post anything about it or anything that will make you look like a moderator. It is the mods' job to handle these things. However, if you wish to advise us about it, feel free to drop us a PM. We're not always looking and we can easily miss something that may be upsetting you.
7) Cursing/Violence Levels
I don't care if you guys swear and curse at one another's' characters as you RP, but it better not get out of hand. I don't want to see swear word after swear word in one post. Keep it limited, okay?
Next, about cursing Out of Character (OOC), you guys better not curse at one another. If you're saying something about a particular topic, or it's just part of your speech, fine, whatever, but no direct attacks.
Violence levels can get just as high as it gets in the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy games, which is pretty high. Mods will be monitoring you at all times, so if you go overboard, you'll be notified.
8) Character Points
- You may not use canon characters that are from worlds not approved by ME PERSONALLY. I am not up to date with all animes, so don't try to pull a fast one on me to see if you can slip by, remember, I can look characters up easily. Google is not your friend here.
-Some worlds will never be allowed. As much fun as it would be, Halo, Left 4 Dead, Fallout, Call of Duty, etc., will NEVER be allowed. If you want a character from one of these worlds, I need to sign off on it PERSONALLY in your character's profile.
-Traveling to new worlds:
Accepted means of off-world travel include:
Your character can use Chaos Control (can only travel to worlds previously visited)
Your character has a space ship of some kind. This is not to say your character has a gummi ship. If your character is friends with Tails, you can ask him to build a ship or teleporter for you. It will cost you big Munny though.
Your character has a form of teleportation, or a machine that allows teleportation (can only travel to worlds previously visited)
Your character can access Dark Portals (limited to heartless and truly evil characters in the KH realm, or those who have been taught to use them. Also, if an Evil character stops being evil, they still have access to the Dark portals.)
And of course, your character is in possession of a Gummi Ship.
The Big Bad Three (my term) of Bowser, Eggman, and Dr. Wiley use a teleporter bay in Space Station Armageddon to travel to other worlds. This teleporter uses gummi pads (save areas).
9) Rules for IC interaction
A. No godmoding. To clarify - godmoding and powerplaying are two linked issues. Powerplaying is controlling another's character without permission, and godmoding is taking actions against another - generally in battle - without allowing the other to react to either dodge or accept.
B. Character Deaths
It happens. Sometimes a character dies - and this ought to be expected in an RP of this nature. However, there are a few rulings I'd like to add about this.
A character's death must be consensual. There's an exception to this, but it generally hinges upon a scenario in which someone simply would not ever be able to survive. For example:
Character A is immune to acid.
Character B is not.
Character A runs into a lake we know to be acidic to escape Character B. Character B runs into the lake after Character A.
Another example is taking far too much damage and ignoring it.
This requires the ruling of a mod who is not involved in the fight. It cannot be made by either participant, save for Character B's RPer deciding that was a suicidal move anyway.
--- One can only become a heartless or nobody in specific circumstances. One can either allow the darkness in ones' heart to fully consume it, as Scar did, or have the heart stolen/eaten by the Heartless. Most deaths will not result in this. In other words, if you ain't killed by the Heartless, you can't be a Heartless or Nobody.
C. As a general rule, NPCs and untaken characters will be played by the moderation team - usually world moderators. Exceptions must be given permission by the mods first.
Lastly:
DO NOT BE AFRAID OF STARTING THREADS!
If you have an idea for a discussion topic, serious or not, do not afraid of starting a topic about it. Just make sure it is in the right area and does not break any of the above rules (which is amazingly easy) and you are all set.
Just so you know, it doesn't bother me personally if you post in the wrong area, cause I have teh godly power to move your threads around, like re-stacking a deck.
