Name:Gilgamesh
Nickname(optional):Alleyway Jack, The Eight Armed Man, The Man of Mystery, Gil.
Age:Timeless, multi-planar
Gender:Male
Species:Human
Position:Multi-dimensional Wandering Swordsman.
Power(s):The ability to tear asunder the fabrics of all reality, and walk through unto another land.(Extra-planer Teleportation.) Can not die. Can be defeated, but can not physically be destroyed or have his soul sucked out. Oh, and he has eight arms and a puppy/man/thing that occasionally gives him more "legendary" swords, but they are usually replicas, or awful swords.
Weapon(s):Lots and lots of swords, many of them replicas.
Picture(optional):www.1999.co.jp/itbig02/10023330.jpg
Appearance:Varies, but for now he is cloaked in a crimson cloak, wearing a crimson shirt, and big poofy crimson pants with white polka-dots. About ten swords are somewhere on his person.
Personality:Foolhardy, proud, and doesn't understand that his actions may offend some people. These elements when coupled with his powers, make him both incredibly strong, but he can't actually DO much. He has a tendency to yell and tell people he meets that his is the strongest warrior in all reaches of time and he's going to kill them, and take their swords, and that they should feel honored to have met their maker by the hands of the greatest swordsman in ALL the lands. He however, is not, at all. Often times he finds a foe who can best him. When this happens, he runs away after learning that they can beat him. But not until after a fight. He fights with honor, pride, and does not misuse his powers. He has a tendency to make people laugh at him, when he is serious. He also tries to do awesome and fantastic things, but fails in a humorous way. And he often states who is multiple times in the same paragraph, if not sentence.
Original World:The realm of Final Fantasy Five, Eight, Nine, Six, One, Eleven, Twelve, and Thirteen.
Born in the land of Five.
Current Residing World:Olympus
History/Background:Gilgamesh was born in a small, hidden, village
when all the men strove to be great warriors and find "The Sword of Legends." The strongest of the men was granted the Genji Armor as a prize in a great tournament each year. After time, the village was destroyed, and Gilgamesh was the sole survivor. He was found by Exdeath who promised to grant him his wish, should he serve him will. That was a lie. Exdeath used him to repeatedly attack Bartz and friends. After time, his ineptitude kicked in and he ruined a trap. Exdeath was not pleased and cast him into the void. Where he fought horrible monsters, and ran away from them, and survived for half of Final Fantasy Five. Eventually, Bartz and friends made it to the Void, and found "The Necrophobe." a powerful Necromancer, with an impenetrable shield. After taking down the sheild, The Necrophobe decided to get serious. Enter Gil. Gil casts Self-Destruct and kills The Necrophobe, and tearing himself asunder. However, by killing the Necrophobe, he earned immortality, and survived. It is also to be assumed that is where he earned his teleportation powers, or he just learned how to do that out of sheer will, because he shows up as the SAME person in more final fantasys than any other character. Even Sepheroth. He shows up in these games looking for that "Sword of Legends." He has yet to find it, as it is probably just that, a legend. He spent some time in various other worlds trying to find that blasted sword. Upon returning to the realm of five, he learned it was eaten by the Heartless, when he found himself in empty space. He warped to the nearest Colosseum and is now there.
Role Playing Sample:Gilgamesh was sad, he just learned that his home world, and all his friends had been eaten by mysterious black masses, and they took the planet with them. "How unfortunate," he said aloud, "Bartz and I were never able to finish our grudge match, AND I NEVER WAS ABLE TO CLAIM HIS SWORD AS MY OWN!" As his foot met with a hard surface, the surface shifted. "Sand? I though I was going to a Colosseum!" He looked about, noticing the large stands full of fans around him. "I...am in a Colosseum?" A rather confused man stood before him. "You there! Where am I, Gilgamesh, your next opponent?"
